Hike Washington: Easy Visitor’s Guide to Palouse Falls

Palouse Falls is debatably under-appreciated. This state park lies within Eastern Washington, about an hour and a half west of Pullman, Washington. Though the direct surrounding area is somewhat secluded, it definitely hosts a beauty of its own. Below is a layout of what to see/do when you visit Palouse Falls!

Information regarding the state park can be accessed here:  https://parks.state.wa.us/559/Palouse-Falls

I visited Palouse Falls in August, so it was drier than other seasons throughout the year. There are different view points above and below the waterfall, including one ADA accessible viewpoint. Before or after seeing Palouse Falls, I suggest you check out That Northwest Bus. That Northwest Bus is an abandoned school bus decorated with graffiti of different artists and adventurers alike.

The Northwest Bus is parked right off of Main Street (in between Highway 261 and Highway 26) and can be accessed from Highway 261 where it meets Main Street, Washtucna, Washington. It’s a fun opportunity for impromptu photos.
